Miley Cyrus has revealed the secret to how she grew up and changed her image. Basically "it's called puberty" she says. Miley is always being to referred to as a Disney star and the singer/actress is bemused by people reacting to how she's changed since she found fame on kid's show Hannah Montana. The singer has been defending her right to grow up. Joking to E!’s Fashion Police, she said: "I think people think I really am a robot, that was made in Burbank in the Disney building. "People are like, 'How do you make a transformation from a kid to an adult?' I'm like, it's called puberty, everyone's done it from the beginning of time. I'm just doing it and so you're zooming in on it and you're fascinated by it." 4music After years of acting as someone else on TV and in films, Miley also said that it's refreshing to just be herself for her music career and revealed that she's keen to make her performances "real". She added: "I think people really don't understand how I'm like a real human being. "Everything I'm doing with my videos, everything I'm doing with my music, I just want it to be really honest. I just feel like I've been a character for so long that now I just want all my performances all my videos to be really real." Miley's new album, BANGERZ, is due for release on 8 October.
