Kylie Garibay is Minogue's second collaboration album with Mexican–American record producer Fernando Garibay and started recording in February 2015; their first was to promote the Kiss Me Once Tour, entitled Sleepwalker After finishing the tour and recording the duet with Moroder, Minogue, alongside Garibay, requested Moroder to help produce a track for the EP.
