Nicki Minaj has her icons. In her case the biggest influences on her are Oprah Winfrey and Madonna. Nicki hopes to emulate these two megastars in her own career, but admits her own success doesn't compare to theirs at the moment. She told Access Hollywood: "I just have a desire to be that kind of woman that I look up to when I was young. That kind of woman like the Oprahs and the Madonnas. "Those are the women that I look at and I'm like, 'If you can do what you do, I can do this,' because what I'm doing is such a small fraction of what their days must be like." 4music Nicki also spoke out about how evolutionary of pop music is, and how important it is to move with the times. The singer, who is known for her bright and wonderful stage costumes, says reinvention is the key. She explained: "I definitely do feel the pressure to reinvent. I think any artist would be lying if they told you they weren't. That's just a normal human feeling. "You're in a business that's constantly changing and because we're in this internet era, people see things one second and forget it the next. And it's like, you know, you've gotta be really special to stick around." In-between her evolving pop act and philanthropy, Nicki says she's extremely busy and left with little time for anything else. Nicki now has her own fragrance, a make-up collaboration with MAC cosmetics and is about to launch a fashion line. She added: "I don't even know how [I make my schedule work] - it really is just mind over matter. Like, you've really gotta will yourself to do it because sometimes I feel so overwhelmed, like I'm not gonna get this done."
