The star, who's responsible for worldwide hits such as Grenade and the energetic Locked Out Of Heaven, tweeted his folllowers on Friday, imploring them to put down their phones and dance. Taking to the micro-blogging site, he wrote: "At the shows I want to see faces. I want to be able to sing to you. I want you to dance with us world. Put the phones down and lets dance!" This isn't the first time he's touched on the subject of how new technology can get in the way of music concerts. Speaking to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O he said: "You go to concert and see everybody holding cameras up and you can't dance and get a good shot so they substitute the having fun!" Oh Bruno, if you sang to us we'd definitely put our phones away!
