The 19-year-old Scot, who was given her big break as a support act for Ed Sheeran, has been in demand around the world since releasing her single Stay Out. In spite of her rising popularity, she says she finds it weird to have undies thrown on stage, Nina is jetting back from the Big Apple for the Nordoff-Robbins Scottish Music Awards on Saturday, where she will be performing on the same bill as Admiral Fallow, Gun and Stanley Odd. She told the Razz: “I’ll be knackered but on a high. I’ve had a great time in New York but it’s been kind of surreal. “I played to 400 people and they were queueing from midday. “The fans were so passionate and so into the music. “Someone even flung their bra at me at the end. I had that once before at Bestival but it is a bit weird. I thought only guys got bras thrown at them but maybe it’s just a sign of appreciation.
